Facebook ad rejected: what to check before submitting again

When a creative is rejected, open the reason in the account first. Then use the Blueprint lesson on ad review to check the copy, video, offer and landing page. Sometimes the fix belongs on the landing page and the video is fine.
The main guide: Meta Blueprint and account trust.
Identify the object and the reason
Save the ad ID, the rejection reason and the policy link shown in the notice. Confirm that the issue concerns this ad. A restriction on an ad account or business is a separate problem and needs its own review route.
Meta’s rejected-ad help page describes editing the ad, creating a new one or requesting another review. The useful choice depends on whether you found a violation or believe the decision is mistaken.
Read the whole offer from a fresh user’s perspective
- Creative: inspect the first frame, small print and implied promise.
- Copy: check unsupported guarantees and wording that attributes sensitive characteristics to the viewer.
- Landing page: confirm it matches the offer, loads correctly and has working forms and essential links.
- Product: check whether category restrictions, age requirements or permissions apply.
Check the specific rejection reason against Advertising Standards. Read the rule named in the notification and how it applies to your creative and landing page.
Keep a review request specific
In the request, state what you changed. If you believe the rejection is wrong, explain which rule was misapplied and why. Keep the details specific to this ad.
Avoid making five more undocumented changes while the request is pending. You want to know which version is being considered. Use the status and timing information shown in your account rather than someone else’s promised turnaround.
Questions and answers
Can an approved ad be reviewed again?
Yes. Meta can re-review ads, so an earlier approval does not replace compliance with the current standards.
Does completing Blueprint reverse a rejection?
Learning can help you understand the rules. Correcting an ad and requesting a review are separate actions.
