Meta Blueprint certificate: course completion vs certification
Blueprint has free lessons and a separate Meta professional certification route. Completing a course and passing a Meta Certified exam are different steps. Here is what each gives you and when paying for the exam makes sense.

Start with the outcome you need
The Blueprint catalogue contains learning on ads, creative, audiences and measurement. A lesson helps you understand a subject. Check your learning profile and the individual activity for its completion requirements.
The Certification Hub lists professional credentials, including role-based and skill-based options and specialist badges. Some require an existing qualification. Finishing any random lesson is not the same as earning one of those credentials.

When does a buyer need the exam?
If today’s problem is a rejected creative, start with the policy and the ad. You do not need to book an exam to understand that issue. Certification becomes more relevant when you want a structured skills check, are building a team or need to demonstrate your qualifications to clients.
My approach to account strength is to look at the whole setup. A professional credential belongs to the person. Business permissions, billing and restrictions are separate checks. Keep that distinction clear when you explain your credentials to a client.
Before paying
- Open the current qualification page. An old blog post may use an outdated name.
- Read the syllabus and prerequisites rather than jumping to the booking button.
- Check the language, available exam format, identity requirements and workstation requirements.
- Read the actual price, rescheduling, retake and renewal terms for your programme and country.
After certification, save the credential link and its validity dates. You can send the link to clients who want to verify it.

Does certification create an agency account?
