Business Support Home: check Facebook account restrictions

When Facebook restricts advertising, first identify the affected asset: profile, ad account, Page or business. That determines where to find the reason and request a review. Start in Business Support Home.

The main guide: Facebook account trust and security.

Find the relevant status

Open Business Support Home with a profile that has access to the business. In the account status overview, select the affected asset and check its ID, reason and available actions. Meta describes this in its restricted-account guidance.

Save the account name and ID. Similar names can lead you to the wrong account. Check the selected period and current status so an older entry does not get treated as a new restriction.

Make a small case record

DetailWhy it matters
Asset type and IDIdentifies the object of the request
Exact status and reasonPreserves the actual message
When it was noticedHelps relate it to team activity
Available actionsShows the next step offered by the interface
Case referenceKeeps the follow-up attached to the same issue

If the complaint is simply no delivery, also check payments and campaign settings. No impressions does not always mean an account restriction. A clean restriction status does not explain weak delivery either.

If review is available

Meta’s review-request instructions describe selecting the restricted account and using the review option under available actions. Complete any prerequisites shown there and use the timing and status information for your case.

Include the restricted asset ID, the reason from the notification and relevant supporting material. Leave screenshots of unrelated accounts out of the request.

If there is no action available

Read the status explanation and use the official support route offered to you. Do not assume creating another business resolves the original cause. If there are unknown people or unauthorised charges, protecting access and investigating compromise take priority.

Save the case date and number alongside the asset ID. When the reply arrives, record the next step and who will handle it.
