How to use it

This edits existing subtitles. VTT styles, regions and comments are omitted with a warning. Overlaps are flagged but may be intentional.
Questions and answers
Can it transcribe a video or translate subtitles?
It works with existing SRT/VTT text. Edit cues, replace wording and shift timing. Speech transcription and automatic translation are not included.
What happens when I shift subtitles backwards?
The shift applies to every cue. A result that puts any cue start below zero is rejected. Reduce the shift or adjust the source timings.
Are VTT formatting and overlapping cues preserved?
VTT styles, regions and comments are omitted with a warning. Overlapping cues are flagged but may be intentional. Review them before downloading SRT or VTT.
