Vibe.co geography, channels and audience targeting

Vibe has controls for geography, channels and audiences. Its documentation details US targeting, so that is where we will start. We will also look at which settings restrict delivery and which just guide the algorithm.

What geography is documented?

Vibe lists US states, metro areas, cities, ZIP codes, counties and congressional districts. Location is a hard restriction and is unavailable for ABM campaigns. See the current targeting guide.

For a market outside the US, confirm availability with Vibe first. This guide covers the US targeting described in the documentation I found.

Which channels are listed?

Examples in the public inventory catalogue include Hulu, Disney+, Paramount Plus, Pluto TV, Tubi, Roku Channel and Samsung TV Plus. These are catalogue listings on the date checked, rather than placements from a campaign we ran.

Before launching, check whether the channel is available for your product, video length and campaign settings. The catalogue alone does not tell you how much volume you can get there.

Controls and Suggestions

Vibe's audience mode guide distinguishes Controls from Suggestions. Controls restrict delivery; Suggestions guide the system while allowing it to expand beyond selected traits. Available modes also vary by campaign goal.

What can narrow the available volume?

• Creative length: 60- and 90-second videos have their own channel lists. See the creative guide.
• Product category: additional restrictions may apply. The ad review guide explains an example.
• Your own settings: a tight location, one selected channel and a short schedule leave fewer opportunities to deliver.

When a campaign isn't spending, Vibe suggests checking narrow targeting and restrictive bids, among other causes. Reporting can also be delayed. See its delivery troubleshooting guide.

If delivery is low, I would start with the GEO, audience and bid. A narrow combination of filters can leave the campaign with very few impressions.
