Google Ads search term analyzer
Recurring words can hide across a large search term report. Group matching words and phrases to inspect their combined spend and conversions.
Files and text are processed on your device and are not sent to the blog server. Individual tool settings are saved only in this browser.
How to use it
- Upload a CSV with column headers. Map search term, cost, clicks and conversions.
- Group one, two or three words. Results are sorted by cost.
- Review context before selecting terms. Export exact or phrase-match negatives.
Group costs overlap because a query may belong to multiple groups. Do not sum these rows. Zero conversions alone are not a reason to exclude a query.
Questions and answers
Which CSV columns are required?
Search term, cost, clicks and conversions are required. Map the columns and choose the decimal format after importing. Remove total rows before uploading.
Why can group costs exceed total campaign spend?
One query can belong to several groups of one, two or three adjacent words. Their costs overlap, so do not add the rows together. This is a phrase-level view, not a total budget.
Does the tool add negative keywords to Google Ads?
It prepares your selected list for copying or CSV export. Exact and phrase matching are available. Review context before importing; zero conversions alone do not justify an exclusion.
